History

Fingle Glen was built as a 9 hole course in 1989 and then extended in 2002 to a full 18 hole course. In 2004 a further extension was made to allow the course to be improved and lengthened still further.

Fingle Glen now offers a 5600 yard course with a par of 69 for men and 71 for women. The course offers a good test of golf for players of all standards. Along with some shorter par 4’s that offer birdie opportunities there are some very challenging par 3’s/4’s that are a test to make par for any player. The par 5’s, one on each nine, give balance to an interesting course.
