Join us this year to celebrate Halloween and Fireworks night all in one, with a fancy dress, bonfire and fireworks party. Everybody and anybody is welcome - bring your families, friends and everyone else you can think of for an evening of great music, hot mulled wine and cider, an outside bbq and chilli feast, a roasting bonfire to warm up the cold october toes and a firework display complete with sparklers for the kiddies (or for those still young at heart). The early disco is for the kids with halloween party games and toffee apples. After the fireworks the disco will be open to everyone and we'll be swapping the party games for best dressed fancy dress and a halloween punch with a bit more of a kick.. 'hiccup'.
Tickets can be purchased on the doors, however you can reserve them by giving us a call or sending an email here. We hope to see you!
Remembrance Sunday takes place yearly on the second Sunday in November, and it commemorates the agreement to end fighting during the First World War in 1918.
Not only does this years Remembrance Sunday fall on the same day as actual Armistice Day (when the official agreement was made to stop fighting), it also marks the 100th anniversary since the guns fell silent at the end of WW1. We think it is most definitely an occasion worth paying tribute to, so after our 2 minute silence we will be hosting a 3-course lunch inspired by what was traditionally served in 1918.
